Terms and Conditions of Sale
Article 1 — Purpose
These general terms and conditions of sale govern the sales of chocolates and derived products of the Colette Demay brand made via the website colettedemay.com.

Article 3 — Products
The products offered for sale are described with the greatest possible accuracy. The photographs illustrating the products have no contractual value.
Article 4 — Prices
Prices are indicated in euros, inclusive of tax. The applicable VAT is that in force on the day of the order. Shipping costs are indicated before the order is confirmed.
Article 5 — Order
Any confirmed order constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. A confirmation email is sent with each order.
Article 6 — Payment
Payment is made online by bank card via Shopify Payments. The debit occurs at the moment the order is confirmed.
Article 7 — Delivery
We deliver to metropolitan France and within the European Union via Chronopost and Chronofresh. Timeframes and terms are detailed in our shipping policy. Free delivery in metropolitan France from €80 of purchase.
Article 8 — Right of withdrawal
In accordance with article L221-28 4° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal may not be exercised for the supply of goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, which is the case of our chocolates. In the event of a damaged or non-conforming product, contact us within 48 hours at contact@colettedemay.com: we will offer a replacement or a refund.
Article 9 — Legal guarantees
All our products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).
Article 10 — Product storage
Our chocolates should be kept in a cool, dry place, away from light and odours. Ideal temperature: 16-18 °C. Minimum durability date indicated on the packaging.

Article 12 — Consumer mediation
In accordance with articles L612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the customer may have free recourse to a consumer mediator in the event of an unresolved dispute with our customer service. Designated mediator: CM2C — Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice, 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris — www.cm2c.net — contact@cm2c.net. The mediator may only be referred to after a prior written complaint to our customer service has remained unresolved. The customer may also use the European online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Article 13 — Applicable law
These terms and conditions are subject to French law. Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts.
